A small group of us went here for thanksgiving a year ago, and had a wonderful time. We stayed at a nice little house there called Tambo de Oro, and had a great time. Beach was very beautiful, locals were very nice, food was excellent and authentic. The only part that we didn't like was how "American" the town was already becoming, you can probably get by without speaking a single word of Spanish if you have to, but there's just no fun in that. :)

There are a lot of good websites for information on the area, but all in all it's a lovely place to go to.
