Chose this particular hotel because of the TripAdvisor ratings! We (Group of 4-two rooms)quickly checked in and were surpised at the size of the rooms which included a full kitchen. The room and the premise was spotless. Very comfortable!! We would have liked to have stayed here longer. We also had a verandah off our room. This hotel is certainly a gem in the town of St Anthony. The Continental breakfast was basic but the coffee was excellent. We ate at the lightkeepers restaurant. We really enjoyed our seafood/fish! The restaurant was very busy so I would suggest reservations should you decide to have dinner there.
Bottom line..I would highly recommend the Grenfell Heritage Hotel!

Hotel is brand new. The room we had was spotlessly clean. Bed & linens were comfy. Furnishings were nice. We had a patio & full kitchen. Very nice stay.

We'd been through Newfoundland and Labrador, staying mainly at individual cabins. When we got to the Grenfell Heritage Hotel, it was a bit of a relief! Wi-Fi! Breakfast! (OK, a pretty uninspiring continental breakfast, but breakfast nonetheless.) A telephone in our room (not that we ever used it.)

The people working at the hotel were very nice, our suite was big enough for all five of us (we brought the baby's bed, our two girls slept on the pull-out couch while we stayed in the bedroom). All in all, no complaints at all.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Breakfast included (continental). Was a little bit noisy as we were on the first floor and could hear people walking upstairs. Hotel was packed because of the high season (lots of icebergs!!). Very confortable beds and beautiful rooms.
