We stayed a weekend in the apartments at the Fossheim in Lom. What a wonderful place. There were 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on two different floors. There were six of us but clearly more people could have stayed. It is not really an apartment but a modern cabin. You can also rent a cabin which is cheaper but I am not sure if it is as big with all the modern amenities the apartment has. The apartment came with dishes and has a kitchen with a dishwasher so we saved money by cooking our own food. And the view... oh my goodness, we got there at night so did not know but when we opened the curtains, we had a fantastic view of the snowcapped mountains. Breathtaking. Lom itself is great with a Stave church that was built in 1000. Definitely worth the trip.
