1st night stopover on our way back from the Var region to Calais.The house is located beneath the castle walls in the old quarter of the town. The room was large and tastefully decorated with a balcony. Travel cot was provided (no high chair available). Swimming pool and sun terrace at the lower level. Our hosts, Pascale & Bernard, used to run a restaurant in Chamonix before relocating to Grignan. They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The food, unsurprisingly, was really excellent - great locally-sourced foods with delicious red wine. Slightly more expensive than other tables d'hotes but hard to argue with the quality.

This is a fantastic place. It is beautifully maintained and full of character. The couple who own La Demeure - Bernard and Pascale - are very special. We could not have felt more welcome. Pascale is very knowledgeable about the region and helped us every day with ideas for sightseeing, maps etc. Her suggestions were terrific. We enjoyed 2 meals prepared by Bernard with our hosts and other guests which were terrific. Bernard and Pascale - thank you for such a lovely stay.

A wonderful nice house with a lot of caracter. For families with many children it´s absolutly perfect . Our children loved the house and village and i think we´ll stay there one more time.
The landlords are super friendly and like to help each time.

There were nine of us on a fun week stay in Provence. The B&B was wonderful. The best part was the hospitality of Pascale and Bernard, the owners. I felt like we were staying with friends - friends who had a passion for the area and were fantastic cooks. Our meals cooked by Bernard were some of the best of our trip. Pascale was so kind to help organise our daily trips. We had so much fun with her that we invited her and her mother to join us.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, run by kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable proprietors, then this is the place.

I strongly recommend having Bernard cook dinner - delicious
