Large rooms with stunning south facing rooms, we had a great balcony. The place is right in the centre of grigan which is a gorgeous old fortified town. Great central location to discover the drome provencale from (which is worth it). Very comfortable beds, nice and calm. Our host Bernard was a real gem and was incredibly friendly & fun to chat with. We had a truffle dinner with him and it was excellent, made all the better by his company. We ended up eating, drinking and talking at the dinner table for 5 hours! His wife Pascale was away so hopefully we meet her next time. He recommended "L et Lui" in St Paul les 3 chateau for our Friday restaurant and it was delicious. Very original.

We can certainly recommend this place if you want a small, friendly place to stay for a few days. We'll be returning for sure!

1st night stopover on our way back from the Var region to Calais.The house is located beneath the castle walls in the old quarter of the town. The room was large and tastefully decorated with a balcony. Travel cot was provided (no high chair available). Swimming pool and sun terrace at the lower level. Our hosts, Pascale & Bernard, used to run a restaurant in Chamonix before relocating to Grignan. They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The food, unsurprisingly, was really excellent - great locally-sourced foods with delicious red wine. Slightly more expensive than other tables d'hotes but hard to argue with the quality.

This is a fantastic place. It is beautifully maintained and full of character. The couple who own La Demeure - Bernard and Pascale - are very special. We could not have felt more welcome. Pascale is very knowledgeable about the region and helped us every day with ideas for sightseeing, maps etc. Her suggestions were terrific. We enjoyed 2 meals prepared by Bernard with our hosts and other guests which were terrific. Bernard and Pascale - thank you for such a lovely stay.

A wonderful nice house with a lot of caracter. For families with many children it´s absolutly perfect . Our children loved the house and village and i think we´ll stay there one more time.
The landlords are super friendly and like to help each time.
