“The ultimate destination for the vacation of a lifetime.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2009

Ahhh, Le Relais de Costebelle is a terrific Bed and Breakfast in Provence. The rooms were clean and large – including the bathrooms. What a concept! It was the best night’s sleep we had on our trip to France. The sustained sound of the cicadas, the night sky where you can see all of the constellations, the hint of lavender breezing through the air created a venue for a perfect night’s sleep; which of course was assisted by the full size beds, real pillows and enjoying a relaxing shower before bed. This is the perfect destination for travelers in Provence. The ambiance is wonderful as the rooms have antique furnishing and soft linen sheets that just make you feel at home. In addition to the basics, the rooms also have a table, fridge, coffee maker and all of the utensils for those of you that want to snack. But how you could find the room for snacks I am not sure. For breakfast an incredible food basket is delivered and if you dine at their restaurant you will have one more reason for why you may never want to leave! Veronique and Serge both speak English so they can assist you with your travels.

Which brings us to the all powerful “Location” of the B&B. It is perfect here. You can have the ultimate vacation from this spot without traveling more than 45 minutes in any direction. Want the beach – head to Saint Maries de la Mer. We did this as an afternoon trip. We dipped our feet in the Mediterranean Sea and saw a horse and pony show. There were many places along the way to stop and ride horses if that is your thing. Another day trip was up toward Chateauneuf-du-Pape and wine country, toured the old castle, and had some outstanding wine tasting’s and of course bought wine to bring home. Also, don’t forget to visit Arles, Avignon, St Remy and leBaux – all very close and enjoyable destinations. For those that do not want to drive, just take a hike – literally or a bike ride and see the local Abby, the charming town of Graveson, tour a fragrance manufacturer or just enjoy nature.

Staying at the Le Relais de Costebelle will create that ‘vacation of a lifetime’ that you will remember for ever. You will want to share the details with everyone you meet.... and you will be back as it is ultimate destination in Provence.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Costebelle. The area is very interesting and we could visit a lot of fine places from the Relais de Costebelle. Serge and Vero were the perfect hosts and the food was excellent. The rooms were spacious.

“Loved the Food & Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2008

This is the perfect place to stay, to take day trips into the Provencal country side of Arles, Avignon, Les Beaux, and St. Remy. The proprietors speak English and are very friendly. Along with the rooms, is a restaurant with food I still compare to many of the Michelin rated restaurants where we dined, in both France and Italy. I still remeber the fois gras with fresh figs from Les Beaux ( picked ourselves) and I will never forget Shrimp ala Serge. Save room for the desserts made by Veronique. With the world looking more and more the same, it was a real pleasure to find an authentic French experience.

The Relais de Costebelle is a wonderful restaurant in Graveson France the food was the best me and my boyfreind discovered during our stay, it was all from scratch and tradtional french which is unbelievablly hard to find. Service was very good and the desserts are to die for. The rooms are beautifully adorned and very personal. A must see if you go to this region of the country

“What a Charming Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2008

This is a charming place run by a delightful couple. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. During our 10 day trip through Europe we visited Rome, Genoa, Graveson, Paris, and London. Our meals at Costebelle were clearly the best! We highly recommend a visit here.
