“Nicer than expected”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 July 2009

We don't usually expect much from an Econo Lodge, but we were pleasantly suprised by the room which was quite big and nice. As others have mentioned, parking is a problem. The spots were all taken when we arrived and we had to park on the street. They should have enough parking spots in their lot for all of the guests. The breakfast wasn't much, but we won't expect much from Econo Lodges.

“Better on the inside”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 July 2008

The Econo Lodge looks a bit worn and dirty from the outside, but our room was clean and big. I had reserved a regular King-bed room but we got the King-bed +fridge and microwave room. Very nice and it was in the back of the motel. We couldn't hear the traffic noise. The motel is located at the intersection of two busy highways. There is also limited parking in the parking lot, but late-comers were able to find parking on a side street. The danish were gone by 8 a.m. and the coffee is ok. There is a market with in walking distance, so you can find something to eat.

“Better than expected”

Excellent value. No frills such as hot breakfast or a pool, but perfect when you just want a decent place to sleep. Room was clean and recently renovated. Not in the tourist area, but a drugstore and a strip mall within walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

“Loved the experience here...and the town”

We decided to stop in and stay here. Friendly front desk staff. We really enjoyed the ambiance of this town! A lot of history! The room was comfortable and clean, but no frills. The price was just right. The also had a small breakfast selection that fit our needs. We would stay here again.
