This is a nice, fairly new property on the outskirts of Fulton, located along the north/south freeway that runs between Jeff. City and I-70. There's a gas station/c-store, and a Huddle House restaurant adjacent to the hotel, but there is much better selection of restaurants with a short drive into town.
The room met or exceeded the standards one expects at a Holiday Inn Express, with a very comfortable bed, clean modern bath, fridge, microwave, etc. The TV had many channels. One small complaint is that the wired Internet did not include a cable, but that's why I carry a Cat 5 cable with me at all times, so no biggie.
I was afraid it might be noisy, since there is a Dollar General distribution center nearby and the trucks pass by the motel on their way in and out, but I didn't really hear much truck noise at all, and the entire stay was very quiet. I liked that, looking out my window, there was a horse ranch with horses peacefully grazing between the motel and the Dollar General warehouse.
Overall an excellent stay, although I wish I would have realized the Churchill museum was in town. (if you weren't already aware, Fulton is where Winston Churchill gave his Iron Curtain speech in 1946) I didn't allow enough time to visit the museum so now I must return to Fulton again soon!
