Front desk person friendly and knowledgeable. Room clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy check-in Complimentary breakfast was good, waffles, cereal, juices, toast, etc.
Used the wifi with no problems. When asked about a restaurant the front desk was happy to recommend a place, printed out directions, and even a coupon for our use. (restaurant Was good).

This hotel has bed bugs galore. The day after I returned from my trip and stayed at this place, I found multiple bed bug bites on the left side of my body. I did research to make sure they were indeed bed bugs.

When I first arrived I found body hair on the floor of the bathroom and inside the shower/tub too. I then found pieces of dirt in various places on the floor in the room.

I have travelled for years and usually stay at better places. Due to the holiday weekend and various large events taking place around the same areas, this was the only place available within a reasonable distance.

We stay in Fenton frequently when we travel through the STL area, and thought we'd try this hotel for a change... a decision which we now regret. The front desk girl was VERY nice, but that's where the pluses end. The room and hotel at large has not been (re)decorated since maybe the 1970's(?), and the room smelled musty. The beds were rickety, the mattresses extremely soft (as in "worn out"), and the sleep experience was underwhelming. The WiFi, although free, was also very inconsistent. The Motel 6 down the block, for $20-30 a night less, is surprisingly cleaner and more comfortable than Pear Tree Inn. It was our first time ever @ a Drury property -- and most likely, our last.

I am a business traveler who usually travels alone. As a young female, I found the entrance very uninviting. I literally called my father from the arking lot and complained, but since it was late, I would have already been charged.
The room itself is fine size wise. The sheets looked dingy and dirty (found small hairs) and the recliner in the room looked like it was very old due to the nature of the stains. The shampoo bottle was already opened, grr.
On the plus size, the water pressure was fantastic. But I am still scared to go back tonight to stay there. Hopefully the room has been cleaned better.
