We stayed there the week before Christmas 2011, and it was very quiet. Not many people at all. They have a great pool area, that includes a large pool, large hot tub, pretty good size game room, bar with tables/chairs overlooking pool, small workout space, shuffleboard and 9-hole putting green. The rooms are smaller than I expected and don't have a refrigerator or microwave. But they were clean. The restaurant is awful. We only ate there 3 times during our week-long stay. That's all would could stand. One night, the manager gave us a coupon for free food (HA!) because the fish we ordered wasn't edible. The atmosphere is far from kid-friendly, yet they say "kids eat free at all meals." Then they make it so uncomfortable to bring in kids. The service also sucked. In summary, nice hotel, but the restaurant sucks.
