Some friends and I went on an inner tube float trip at the last minute, and we contacted this place. We asked for a cabin, but they only had a room...so we took it. When we arrived, they told us a cabin came open, and we were thrilled. We walked in to check it out and something smelled fishy..literally. We thought it was the old trash can and moved it out. So, we took the room, being excited about the extra space and having a kitchen to cook in to save money. But, when we opened the fridge....whew! it stank like rotten fish, and we could not use it. No worry..we had brought plenty of coolers. But,we thought the owners would be apologetic and give us a discount and some free ice. They acted like it was our fault we didn't know the fridge was stinky. They reluctantly gave us $20 off a night, and no free ice. Not much customer service. Plus, they charged us $1.50 each extra for roap to tie our tubes together. On top of the $14.50 we already were paying. A nickel & dime operation. Not going back to that place, but will go back down to Emminence for an inner tube float trip.
