Big enough to offer a complete ranch experience with amenities, yet small enough to be relazing and serene. The cabins are very clean, you get two nice sized double beds, a futon, table and chairs, a jacuzzi for two and a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot). They are very, very clean w/ a/c as well. No phone and the TV only will play DVD's, no satellite or cable. So, you can cook in there if you wish, but the meals oferred by Kathy and her family are dellicious. Kathy simply loves to see her guests eat and eat well. It's standard country fare, nothing fancy, but delicious.
If you are bringing your hgorse you will be pleased to see that the stalls are spread around the camp so you're never far away. their own horses available for trail rides are well taken care of and gentle. You will be charmed by the 'down home' feel of the place, with barn cats running around and her charming beagles. Fire wood is provided with each cabin having a fire ring right outside. Even if you were going to Eminence for canoeing only I'd choose to stay here, personally. Great for seasoned horse people as well as families that are first-timers. You won't be disappointed. The only downside is that in my opinion the horseback riding is pricey at $40 an hour per rider. they do have a trailriders package that I didn't do, but you might call and ask. Google 'Coldwater Ranh Eminence' for their website.
