renovated recently. this motel is clean, quiet and most of a great value. have stayed here a few times with incident.
location might be confusing. especially when leaving the motel to get back on i-270.

We stayed in this hotel with 2 double beds for two adults and 4 kids !! We booked it via priceline and got a good deal at only $62 per night ! At first sight we thought it looked run down and was not thrilled about the Hooters that shared the same parking lot ! The staff was really friendly and when we asked for extra towels they said we could have them but would need to come to the lobby ! The rooms were very spacious and clean.they had the air already on so that was nice to walk into a cool room . We wanted a room we could park in front of and only walk a few feet to our room this was Perfect !! The room was very clean except a few hairs in the shower ( which we just turned it and rinsed out ) we did find cigarettes ashes undenearh the phone not sure if this was a smoking room or not but it didn't smell ! The beds were soft pillows super plush , we loved their shower as they had the extended curtain and great water pressure , however there was no lock on the bathroom door . The granite sink was outside the bathroom with a beautiful round mirror ! There was a desk and the tv had the basic channels but you could purchase new movies for only $15 each !! They did offer " order inn " dinner meals but you must allow 45 minutes for it to arrive . Another perk was Free wifi ! Overall it was a good experience and fit the needs of my large family !

Good place for a 1-night stay. It's a little tricky to negotiate the Westport Plaza area but it's worth getting to. Our room was clean and comfortable enough (smallish and no luxuries). We felt quite safe and there were restaurants and a convenience store very close by. Excellent value for money and ample space to walk the dog. I recommend it if you are traveling with your furry friend!

My husband and I stayed here for several days before we were able to move into our home. We chose this place because it was pet friendly, inexpensive and had reasonably good reviews on trip advisor.

The hotel is behind a hooters and adjacent to other similar hotels. Its clearly not new but the lobby looked nice and the rooms had not terribly old furniture and bedding. The room was acceptable but a little bare. We paid a little extra for the room with the fridge and microwave.

My main complaints with the Red Roof Inn as a place to stay for more than one night is that the hotel has only exterior corridors so you can hear everything from the parking lot (and for some reason several of the nights different guests would basically tailgate in the parking lot). Additionally, the internet, while free, was terribly slow, much worse than La Quinta or other hotels I've stayed at before. Furthermore, I was given a non smoking room that reeked of smoke.

Honestly, it could have been a lot worse but I wouldn't really recommend staying there. I'd splurge next time for nicer accommodations, maybe the La Quinta next door.
