This isn't a Hilton, or even a Hampton Inn. If you arrive with those expectations, you'll be disappointed. If you come expecting a clean, comfortable room and to get what you pay for, you'll be happy. It's an older building, but well-maintained, clean and quiet. I was a satisfied customer.

Should have turned around when the lobby smelled of cig smoke. Went on anyway due to being late and not a lot of options. Room was kind of dirty. The sink and tub both had hair in them. 1 wash cloth was just laying loose on counter, it looked clean but don't know. Dirty corners and tables had spots on them. There was a hole where door handle went in wall. The towels and bed seemed clean. Would keep driving if I had it to do over.

We were passing through on our way home and didn't make reservations in advance, but that was not a problem, because there were plenty of rooms available (small town). When we arrived, the clerk answered us promptly, but wasn't exactly the friendliest person. When we asked about restaurants, she only told us about the barbecue place down the street. When we asked about other options (we had just come from Memphis and were full up of bbq) she said, yes, and it's over there, but then started going on about the bbq place again. We were not informed that the hotel used radiant heaters, and were confused when the heat/ac unit that most hotels have wouldn't come on. It was an okay experience, but I probably would stay at the hotel next door if I ever pass through again.
