“Nice Stopping Point”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Headed to Florida via, Atlanta and stopped in KC to see some friends. Stopped here in the past and knew it would be good enough for sleeping, got there about 11 at night. The clerk was very friendly and helpful as my daughter forgot a toothbrush and she had drawer full of them, nothing fancy but good enough for the night. The breakfast was OK, pretty typical for Hampton, nothing fancy but gets you going...

“Great midway stop between St. Louis and KC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I was traveling late and stopped in here and found a gem. Nice hotel, lots of parking, easy access off I70 and great service. Rooms were like new, pool and hot tub were nice as well. Definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Restaurants within a few blocks, some within walking distance. Fuel is nearby as well if you need a fuel station. Breakfast was your typical Hampton breakfast. The ladies working were helpful as well.

“very comfortable room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

we stayed at the hampton inn for a few days while visiting relatives in columbia. we weren't expecting a whole lot but for a small hotel in a relatively small community, it was a great place to stay. the beds were VERY comfortable and everything was clean. everything was in great working order and the hotel staff was fantastic.

it's nothing fancy, and doesn't have all the amenities of a big hotel, but we have found hampton inn quality to be very consistently good and this hampton inn was no exception. great place to stay if you're in the columbia area.

“100% Satisfaction Guaranteed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

At night in hotels, I keep the bathroom light on and the door slightly cracked to help me move around the room if I have to get up. The light and fan in this bathroom were connected. If the light's on, the fan's on. Unfortunately, this fan was not working properly and there was a continuous knocking sound.

As I left the Hampton Inn, I mentioned to the Front Desk that the fan needed to be repaired and I started out the front door. The desk clerk stopped me, reminded me of their 100% satisfaction guarantee, and gave me the night FREE. That is real customer service! I've always been happy with Hampton Inns and will continue to use and recommend them.

“Excellent Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

This past weekend 12/17th I spent the night at the hotel where I met a couple of college alumni friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the temperature was adaptable to one's needs and the bathroom had complimentary shampoo, mouthwash, hair conditioner and body lotion. In addition, there are other items that can be obtained from the front desk if needed such as a razors. The hot breakfast (complimentary) was very tasty. There were scambled eggs, sausage, yougurt, cereal, make your own waffles and fruit. There is coffee 24-7 in the lobby and one's room. There is also a work out room, pool and jacuzzi. In addition, the lobby has a comfortable seating area with tables, chairs and couches. There are also two computers and a printer that is at no cost as well. I have stayed at this hotel several times before and never have had a bad experience. It is one of my favorites. The town of Columbia, MO is where I orginally graduated college from. There are museums at the university, movie theaters, a quaint downtown area and lots of shopping on Stadium Blvd. There are also places to go to see live theater and tons of fabulous places to eat. The 63 diner is a 50's style eatery that has great food and ambience. The sub shops (a well own icon in Columbia) makes the best subs on the planet. A great weekend get away for families, couples, friends or like me college alumni.

Room Tip: I like the main level so I can be near the front door and coffee in the lobby. I also enjoy sitting...
