The lobby here is really nice, and the common area, with its swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, table tennis and breakfast area is classy. Too bad that the rooms are so worn or it would have been perfect. As it was, our room had nothing more than a night-light in the bathroom (making showering quite a challenge in the dark!), the furniture had damage and was very worn, and the carpet was full of burn holes. However, the bed was really comfortable and all we really wanted was a place to get a good sleep, which I'm happy to say was the case at this motel. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but it was quite acceptable - scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, cereal, good coffee, juice, etc. The eating area was nice and spacious, overlooking the pool - pleasant not to be crammed into a little room, as we find at most Quality Inns.

No problems with the check-in or check-out process. I wouldn't be as critical as some of the previous reviewers, though I do think that the management should take steps to keep the rooms in working order and replace damaged furnishings. Our room was quite clean - at least what we could see of it since the bathroom was so dark.

Most enjoyable! Computer facility adequate - pool is inviting, but it turned a little cold, and even though, I had trunks with me, decided not to take the plunge. I'm having t he time of my life here, because I came from a small town (Lafayette, IN), where we passed trought before comeing here for a visit (Columbia is my wife's hometown).

The highlight was the super breakfast 0 not too extravagant, but more than sufficient to fill up on before going out into the world. THE COFFEE IS GREAT! Needless to day we're traditionalist - we loveea

The pool is nice here and the breakfast is pretty good. I was the leader of a group of high school students. All four of our rooms had outdoor entrances. One of the entry doors of the rooms would not shut all the way or lock. I told the front desk about the problem, but they said nobody could fix it until the next day. After I insisted that it wasn't safe for high school girls to stay in a room that wouldn't lock, they gave us a different room. It was pretty run down in a lot of ways, but the room I stayed in was pretty clean.

This is a run-down, moldy, bug infested, flop house. The horrible smell, poor location, and seedy tenents, make this a unsafe place to stay, especially for women. I would rather sleep in my car, than lay down on their saggy infested mattresses or walk on the dark, filthy, moldy carpet. Bugs on the wall and mildew all over the bathroom. Absolutly disgusting.
