I recently traveled through Clinton and stayd here for the night. The rooms were reasonable, clean and the staff were friendly. I spent some time down at the bar on the property "Diamondbacks" I believe it was called and the bartender Stacey made me feel like a long lost friend. Her friendly smile, attitude and demeanor made me feel right at home, which made my stay at the hotel that much better. If you ever stop in Clinton, be sure to stay here and stop at the bar and say hi to Stacey, she's one in a million.

I was just wanting a place to sleep but got a lot more. They had apparently just finished remodeling the hotel rooms and they were far above what I thought I'd find for the price I paid. And they had a bar that seemed to be the most popular nite spot in town. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate but not hot. And the owners took the time to greet me in the morning and introduce themselves and personally ask me if everything was ok. I like the place.

My family and I travel through Clinton MO quite often and we wanted to try out this hotel because we had stayed at the others. We had a King suite room. Our room was clean but had an odor of urine about the mattress the light in the bathroom worked intermittantly and the walls of the room were dirty.Poor ventilation in the room. We was going to leave to find different hotel but there was a card in the room that said no refunds or adjustments. So we decided to stick it out. My suggestion to anyone who decides to stay here is to check the room first before letting them bill your card. Also, the bill you $100.00 as a "security deposit" (will be refunded--> if no damage to the room). My question would be how could they tell? Our room was so old and mustyand disguisting to begin with . . . The continental breakfast is coffee and a loaf of bread for toast or bagel. Very disappointing.

In the hotels defense they are currently re-modeling and it may be a great place once they update everything. However, I will not be staying at this location again and just wanted to pass along the above to save other travelers the expense of a ruined weekend/family time.
