“Unimpressed - will not return or recommend”

We chose to stay here because of it's proximity to Roaring River State Park , access to restaurants and fast food, and economical rates.

We had two rooms. Upon arrival the rooms appeared to be okay and clean. But upon turning down my bed I noted a large urine stain on the bedspread. I chose just to remove the bedspread from the bed, because there was no point to replace it - my stay had been ruined. The next morning I mentioned this to the desk clerk who apologized profusely and immediately went to the room and removed the spread from the room.

The occupant of the second room noticed what appeared to be flea bites on her ankles (no, not chiggers from hiking) the day after our stay.

The breakfast was very basic and we chose to eat a fast food breakfast at McDonald's. The pool needed to be vacuumed.

The rooms were quiet, the beds comfortable, the pillows and linens were acceptable.

“great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 April 2010

Just randomly stopped here to break up a long drive. Was pleasantly surprise by the value, quality of rooms but the reason I'm writing this review is the staff. The lady that checked us in was fast, friendly and very helpful. She was able to recommend the only late night eats in the town and provided excellent directions. She went above and beyond my expectations and made us feel very welcomed.

“Adequate for a night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2009

Spent a night in Cassville during a driving tour through the Ozarks. For $54/night, it was clean with a comfortable bed and simple, but good breakfast. The hotel is right past the intersection of 37 and 76 making it a convenient stop before Roaring River State Park. This is a no frills type of place but the service was friendly and the room was in very good condition.
