“A Gem of a Place!”

My boyfriend and I were in the area for a junior golf tournament. We were scheduled to stay at the Drury Inn with the other families, but the Drury was not helpful with our group stay, so we searched online and found the Victorian Inn. We chose an interior room, which opens to the courtyard. We experienced some late nighters on the second night, however, turned on our fan and everything was fine. From the call to reserve our room, to the first two employees we met at check in, to the employee who came to our room to hook up my laptop to the internet, to the lady keeping the food replenished for breakfast, to the employee making sure our stay was perfect when we were checking out, we couldn't have had a better experience. The breakfast has a wide variety of items to choose from. The rooms are very nice and clean and have a microwave and refrigerator; the shower has great pressure; the courtyard area is very spacious, and the hotel has plenty of entertainment - TV's, sofas to lounge in, ping pong, pool table, indoor swimming pool, hot tub, video games (who wouldn't want to play a game of PACMAN?!), fooseball - to the point that we spent both evenings at hotel playing games.

The hotel is right in the midst of everything you need - array of restaurants, department stores, etc. We will return to the Victorian Inn from this point forward when we attend the golf tournament. Kudos to to Victorian Inn! Whoever trains your staff does a great job!

“Great Stay”

What an awesome facility. The name doesn't do the hotel justice. The main breakfast room is breathtaking. The pool area was relaxing and had a great setting. This would be a place I would bring my family if I was heading down 55. Was here for business, disappointed my kids couldn't enjoy the pool and fun area.

“Nice Inn but very noicey in CourtYard.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2010

We have moved away from cape and came back to visit. We stayed in a inside room facing the courtyard. The noise from other customers was going on till about 1am and then at about 3 am someone walked down the hall hitting every window and door on there way. We were waken up by a child in the courtyard at about 5am screeming at the top of his lungs. The hotel is very nice, but we got no sleep.

“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 April 2009

Wonderfully clean hotel with great indoor pool. We stayed in a room on the "outside" which meant we had to go outside and back in again to get to the entertainment area. The inside rooms would've been better. Was disappointed that they charged to play pool and we had to buy the ball for the ping pong table (only a quarter, though). As anywhere, the video games get to be quite expensive also. If you have small children or any age child that needs entertainment, this would be the place to stay or for a family gathering. There were lots of places to sit and talk in the common area.

“Nice if you're not claustrophobic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 March 2009

We were on our way from Florida to Kansas, so we just needed a place to spend the night. This hotel, while nice, was a bit pricey for our needs. Also the room we had was an inside room. It opened onto an enormous lobby, which was very attractive with lots of comfortable places to sit. However, the room was dark and the lack of outside windows made me rather claustrophobic. Otherwise the room was nice enough. Breakfast was fine and served in the huge lobby. There was a nice looking indoor pool, but we did not use it. If you don't mind an inside room and are staying long enough to use the lobby, pool, game room, etc. it is probably worth the price.
