I was traveling with a youth group to Six Flags. This was a good hotel for youth. There was an indoor pool, ping pong and pool table for kids to use. We had the outside rooms which were a little scary for some of our younger students who a had never been away from their parents. I would have preferred inside rooms. The breakfast was good. They had a waffle maker, fruit, oatmeal, cereal and pastries. The room was clean but a little small. My concerns with this hotel was that there were many college athletes staying here. It was very busy and loud until about midnight. It would not be the place to stay if you wanted to relax, but it is good for kids or teens.
Another concern was that our rooms had doors that led to the inside rooms. We thought they went to an adjoining room. When one of our teens knocked on the inside door thinking she was knocking on her friend's adjoining room door, but got a college male instead we were all shocked the rooms would open up to a different room/ area all together. We made sure all the doors were locked and that no one opened the adjoining doors (which looked like closest doors). This was a little scary since I was in charge of keeping the teens safe. I want everyone to know about this especially if you are traveling with a youth group. Next time I will make sure we can get rooms that adjoin to people in our group.
Room Tip: I would ask for an inside room not one on the outside. If traveling with a group make sure the rooms...
