The bathroom was very gross and the walls were dirty. Front desk staff was unfriendly and rude.

With over 200 contributions to TA, I think I know what a good hotel should look like. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed at. Staying in your car would be a better option.
1. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and goes out of their way to try and ignore you.
2. The location is right on the highway. The walls and windows are so poor that you hear everything driving by all night long.
3. The outside door at the end of the building does nnot have a closer that works, so it bangs shut all night and then starts again at 5 AM as people go in and out.
4. The rooms are dirty, outdated and gross.

The Holiday Inn Express would be a much better opption. In fact sleeping in your car would be a better option.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights (Saturday - Tuesday) and we were pleasantly surprised at the room we received. It was a queen with 2 beds and a smoking room. The room did have a smoke smell but that was to be expected but wasn't bad at all. The maid service cleaned our room everyday, changing the sheets and making the beds every day as well as cleaned and vacumned, which was good as we were staying there with our 3 year old son (messy eater). The maid one day even folded my pajamas and left them neatly on the corner of the bed and folded our son's blanket he had brought and left it on the bed also. The stay was very nice and our nights were quiet. The only things that I could recommend is if you are a coffee drinker, like I am, bring your own pot as their's offered in the room was for only 1 cup and just not enough and if you have a picky bottom go to the local walmart and buy some softer toilet paper. Other than that the next time we head back down south to visit family we will definately stay there again. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

I was passing through and stopped to check rates. I wasgiven a rate of $52 and checked in . The next morning I found out that I had been charged $62. The desk clerk said she had only been here two days and didn't know how to correct the mistake, but the manager would issue me a credit the next day. After several phone calls I found out that the owner refused to give me a credit without even talking to me to hear my side. T he owner and the manager both gave different reasons for not giving me a credit. All of this for $10. Don't stay here because you don't know how much they will charge you. THE OWNER AND THE MANAGER ARE DISHONEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
