“Tasteful contemporary decor; very friendly staff, crazy-comfortable beds!”

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. We were there for one night but will return when we have the occasion to be in the St. Louis Airport area again. The decor in all areas of the hotel...reception desk, lobby & bar, and hotel rooms, creates an upscale ambience. The rooms are large and quite accommodating. Key to this review is to communicate how incredibly comfortable the mattresses and bedding were in our room! All of us commented on the high comfort level of the beds, even the person who slept on the pull-out couch! The breakfast area was clean and well laid out. Our only critique was that we were "early birds" to the breakfast area soon after it opened on a Saturday morning, and the cook-to-order area was not yet up and running. We did however take advantage of the buffet. Wonderful hotel, good cleanliness, warm and friendly staff! We hope to return soon!

Thank you for taking the time to let us and future guests know how your stay with us was. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the newly renovated hotel and all of the décor. Each room either has one kind bed or two queen beds and features the Suite Dreams Mattress by Serta. We appreciate your comments on everything, especially the breakfast area. We will speak with the weekend staff in hopes of having everything ready to go as soon as breakfast starts. We can’t wait to see you again on your next trip to St. Louis!

I spent the weekend at this Embassy to attend a baseball convention (Go Cards). It looks like the hotel just got refreshed and was quite homey. But the thing that blew me away was how friendly everyone was. From the front desk to the bar to the folks at the free breakfast, everyone was genuinely nice. Don't see that in a hotel often enough these days.

We stayed here the day after Christmas and even after the Christmas holiday the staff was performing at their best. The entire hotel seemed completely renovated with modern furnishings and decor. The staff was very friendly and upon checkout we left 2 of our ice packs from our cooler in the room and from the time we took the elevator down to the time we checked out which was only about 2 minutes, they found that we had left them and brought them to us. My only surprise was that our room did not have a bathtub but just a very large walk in shower. Great for adults but in you have young kids that need a bathtub you might need to inquire about this. We had our car loaded down with Christmas presents and felt completely safe parking it there and was untouched the next morning.

Room Tip: Just see my note regarding the availability of bathtubs if needed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to let others know about your experience at our hotel. We are very happy that the staff was able to get the ice packs back to you before you departed. As far as the shower/bathtub goes, all of our King Suite rooms have showers, and the two Queen Suite rooms have a bathtub with shower. This was to accommodate for the children that would be present in rooms with two Queens and to make the King Suites more convenient for single travelers. We hope you keep us in mind the next time you are in the St. Louis area and thank you again!

“Wonderful Birthday Stay!”

The rooms are huge, clean and very well laid out. It was nice having a TV in both rooms. The bed was comfortable and my wife loved the big comforter. The evening Manager's Reception was nice, the bartender never left our drinks empty, not to mention that they were free.

The complementary breakfast was amazing. If you stay here, you don't have to worry about leaving the hotel to receive a delicious, warm breakfast meal. Definitely not your normal cereal, danish or waffle maker free breakfast that other hotels offer.

We will definitely be making this a birthday/anniversary tradition.

Room Tip: It you want a good view, avoid the second floor. Also, request an airport facing room.

“Very Good except for housekeeping”

The room was very nice and included two flat screen televisions and of course separate sitting area. The breakfast was yummy, free and included hot made to order omelets, waffles, and many hot and cold breakfast items and a free happy hour. Being close to the airport it was have been quiet except for children running and cart wheeling down the hall, but that was due to bad parenting not the hotel. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the housekeeping.It seems most hotels are going "green" and ask to change sheets every 3 days and ask if you will re-use towels, if you would agree. You of course have the option of saying no. I must have fresh towels but can do with a 3 day change of sheets, however, my sheets were not changed after the 3 days, even though I placed the change of sheet card on the pillow which was not required if they change automatically on the third day. The front desk clerk did quickly bring me new sheets. If this was the only thing I could over look it, but I did use the guest laundry (nice new machines) and there were several dishes dirty dishes that were on the floor of the laundry room, that I assume some of the nastier guests placed on the floor on the laundry room after room service. Of course it is not the hotels fault that unclean guests would do such a thing, but the dishes were there for at least 2 days and probably would have remained had I not said something to the front desk which makes me think more than just one person is very lacking in keeping the place tidy. Unfortunately this made me wonder if my sheets had been changed before I checked-in. I can only hope this was an isolated event. When I go to St. Louis again, I would chose to stay there again, because everything else was great. I don't know their names but all of the night front desk clerks and morning clerk that I interacted with were nice and the female bartender and weekend chef, and other chefs and breakfast hostess were all very professional and courteous.
