“Great Hotel for the Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2007

My baseball team stayed at the Victorian Palace during the 10-U AA State Baseball tournament in June 2007. It was a great hotel for the price. The hotel is two floors and no elevators. The pool is located on the backside of the hotel on the other side of the parking lot. Great location if you want to stay up later and swim. You won't bother the other patrons.

We had one of the mini-suites instead of a standard room. The only difference is a pullout bed from the sofa. Other than that, the rooms are the same. Rooms were clean and everything worked.

The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast so if you're a big eater, you'll want to go out.

The hotel is located abour a 1/2 mile South of 76 Hwy by Track 4 and White Water. It's very close to Celebration City. So close that you can see the Celebration City fireworks each night.

The employees are very nice and didn't mind the 11 kids that ran around like bangees the first night. Although some of the other patrons complained a little.

Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if we get back to Branson.

“A Branson Gem !!!!”

We came for a Spring Break Trip with our children ages 12, 4, and 2 years old. We just happened upon this wonderful hotel by accident. We immediately stopped just by seeing the outside. It was beautiful and charming. We knew that we had chosen the right place as soon as we walked through the front door. This hotel is so beautiful and elegant! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Very nice people. The whole hotel including our suite was extremely clean. The suite had plenty of room for our family of 5 with two T.V.'s and a jacuzzi tub! Our bathroom was the cleanest of any hotel that we have ever stayed at (and we travel ALOT). We are already planning our 14th Anniversary Trip coming up in June and we will be staying at this Victorian Palace! In the future this will be "our place" in Branson. We would recomend this wonderful hidden gem to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, elegant place to stay!!

“victorian Palace Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2006

I wasn't too unhappy with the hotel. They were friendly, the room was clean, but showed a lot of wear!!
The ONE thing I will complain about is, breakfast. Our first two mornings we were given coffee( OLD!) , cereal, juice and toast. Towards the weekend they furnished small blueberry muffins. So, if you have a hearty breakfast appetite, you will need to go to a restaurant.
The pool was COLD!! But, we were told we could use the indoor pool and hot tub at the hotel next door.
LOVED the Hamner Barber show, FANTASTIC!!! Also, the volinist whose first name is SHOJI. ( didn't think I would, but.he's fantastic)...So is the Bald Knobblers show, I laughed so hard!!!...Everyone told us we had to go see it. Glad we did...
Stay away from the Branson Train ride, unless you enjoy seeing nothing but trees outside the window. We saw I forgot....we also saw, Old Tires and cars piled in a back yard . It was a smooth ride, BUT.No scenery to talk about!!! A waste of 2 hours.
There is a shopping mall near the train station in downtown Branson worth the TRip. Lots of antiue stores and neat shops!!
Had a wonderful time if I say so.......
