“Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2010

We have stayed at this hotel more than once and was satisfied but this stay will probably be our last. Let me start with the free continental breakfast. They were serving toast, frozen waffles and donuts from I don't know where along and cereal, Not Good. Next is the free wifi. It is free but only if you are close to the lobby. The rooms are in dire need of a update. The positives is that the pool and courtyard is nice and relaxing as well as being close to some of the good attractions. I guess for 150.00 with tax for 3 days you get what you pay for. As for the staff they have always been helpful and friendly.

“Very impressed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2009

The room was very nice and clean! Bill is the gentleman at the front desk and he was tremendously helpful with any questions I had. It was nice and quiet, and very close to everything on Hwy 76. The king size bed was very comfy, and it felt like a honeymoon oasis! The a/c was ice cold, and the jacuzzi was hard for me to leave! I could have stayed in that all night!!

The breakfast was very tasty, as I love biscuits and gravy! I didn't swim in the pool, but I did relax on the bench and enjoyed listening to the crickets and watching the fire flies...

I have friends who stayed in a standard room and they told me how much they enjoyed their room, as well. I also felt very safe, although I was there alone. No slamming doors, no shouting neighbors - just peaceful.

“Socks and cheetos in the floor that were not ours”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2008

My husband and I have stayed in different motels in Branson many times but this one was by far the worst. When checking in I tried to explain to the man at the desk that I did not need two beds. Instead of kindly telling me that was all he had, he was rude about it. After going to the room, there were several more problems. The remote to the television had been broken, duck taped together, and it worked only part of the time. The bathroom floor had a chunk missing out of it and the sink was cracked. The mirror clearly had been cleaned anytime recently. In addition, there was not a do not disturb sign so my husband went to the office to get one and was informed that they did not have any. The only good thing that I can say about the free breakfast was that it was free. The biscuits were rock hard even when heated and the toaster and microwave were dirty. The woman who was supposed to be working the front desk was sitting at the computer playing a game of solitaire and ignoring anyone and everyone. Several people spoke to her and she acted as if she was deaf. The toast and cereal were getting low and she did nothing to take care of the problem. Before checking out, I checked the room to make sure that we had not left anything behind and that was the worst mistake I made while there. There were several Cheetos around the edge of the base of the bed and we had not had Cheetos. There was also trash around the base of the bed. Worst of all, I though my husband had left his gloves under the bed so I started outside with them to soon realize when I unrolled them that it was not his gloves but instead someone’s socks that were not ours. This just showe me exactly how dirty the rooms were and how poorly the housekeepers cleaned. When I took the key to the desk the man there did not say anything at all just looked at me and took my key. I will never stay there again.

  • Liked — that the breakfast was free
  • Disliked — the dirty room!!!

“Lazy Person in The Eating Area”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2008

Price is good if you get it under $40.00 per room. Bill at the front desk is very nice and helpful. Using a key and not a key card is not to safe though. The breakfast is terrible. The lady with long black hair is soooo lazy. She pretends she does not speak English when you ask for something. But then later she speaks English perfectly fine. She sits at the computer off the eating area playing solitaire when she should be tending to her job. My family went there for breakfast and the waffle mix was all gone there was no syrup, the biscuits were gone and the gravy was almost gone with just a little bit around the sides of the crock pot burning. When she finaly got off the chair playing solitaire because a man/customer got her attention she put a corn cob in the microwave for herself and then carried it around eating it while tending to the food; how nasty. My daughter asked for gravy and the lady scrapped all the left over out of the pot that was dried up and looked disgusting and handed it to my daughter. She is too ignorant to be embarrased. Oh and the orange juice is fruit drink and not orange juice.

“Budget Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2008

We stayed at Branson Vacation, check in 03-26-2008---check out 03-29-2008. The front desk service was fine, no check in problems and no check out problems. The room was a standard hotel room with 2 double beds. The TV was small and no preimum channels, although it did have remote control. There was a coffee maker in the room, with coffee, but no cups. And, no drinking cups either. We received clean fresh towels and a bed make up every day and that was nice. We tried the continental breakfast the 1st day, but it was not good; it was a lot less than good.
Overall our stay was okay with no major problems. Do not expect any frills or amenities, just a room for the night.
