We had seen Trail's End on the outside in March. We chose it because of the nice dock and proximity to the lake. I reserved a two bedroom "resort unit" with a kitchenette, the lowest priced option. I had seen a floor plan online and thought it would be okay. Upon arrival it was NASTY- tiny room, hideous smell, I've stayed at some funky places on various lakes, but this was too gross for even my dedicated group of lake rats. Luckily we were able to get a cabin which was basic, but much better. The only problem was that it had no oven (we cook at the lake). My friends had to upgrade to a condo, which was very nice. The only problem is that both familles blew our budgets way out of the water because of the upgrade in accomodations. Access to the dock and lake were great, dock was one of the best we've ever used. Too bad the "resort" units would only be a resort to various kinds of vermin!

We took our 5th wheel, and stayed at the rv park. And our adult kids and grandkids rented a cabin so we can review both. Let me tell you one thing, what, they call a rv park is a joke, its gravel spots on a hill, and if you are wondering why you can't find any pictures of the park it's because know one would pull their trailer in there. Do yourself a favor and keep looking there are alot better rv parks in Branson area. Now the cabin, well to start with the cabin they booked had to have some work done, so they got a upgrade and if that was a upgrade boy I would hate to see the first cabin. It smelled so bad that I could not go in. And it was just dirty smelled like cats used it for a litterbox. This place needs to have a major renovation.

The log cabin we booked at Trails End was in a beautiful setting. My husband and I took our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren for a Christmas Trip and visit to Silver Dollar City. The cabin was okay, but the beds absolutely ruined our trip!! The "hide-a-bed" was dirty and uncomfortable. A door on the lower kitchen cabinets almost fell off in our hands. The TV was almost too small to see. We had been informed prior to our trip that wood was available for the fireplace, but when we called to get wood we were told we would need to "steal" it from a different cabin, which we did not do because the fireplace was virtually unusable anyway because of it's location in the corner of the room.. We asked for toilet tissue and were told we could come to the office and get it. All in all, this beautiful setting on the lake is wasted on poor service and cheap amenities.

Wow. My husband and I booked this place for our anniversary. We arrived to find our " new studio lakeview room" was disgusting. Construction was still going. Great view if you enjoy trees, gravel parking and construction equipment. Carpet was nasty and smelled of urine. "marble" countertops were faux marble and kelly green at that. Mattress felt like it had been stuffed with hay. 12 inch tube TV in "suite" was nothing short of comical. We asked for an upgraded room and were given keys to one that was worse. When I stepped back into the office the 205 year old woman asked " what the hell is wrong with that one?!" We requested a refund and were denied. They told me to take it up with my financial institution. Stay away from this place.
