We found this resort to be very clean, well maintained, with a great view of Table Rock lake. We brought a boat with us and the launch area was level, as was the road leading into the area (some of them are very curvy and steep). We rented an A-frame, there was a amall kitchenette with utensils provided, cooktop stove and microwave, as well as a charcoal grill outside by the picnic table. The owners request that you seperate cans and plastic, which we didn't have a problem with, and they also provide daily trash pickup. Upon checkin, we were given a lengthy list of "rules" but found that they were mostly common sense suggestions that I personally would expect as a resort owner, and also a list of their favorite eating places which I thought was very helpful. We would stay here again in the future.

Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I found the couple running Artilla Cove to be overly helpful and incredibly nice. The place was immaculate and I appreciated the daily towel and trash service. The view of the lake was wonderful to wake up to every morning. Boat rental was easy and we had a great time on the lake.

Unlike others who had a issue with the signs around the cabin, I found them to be par for the course like in many other hotels. The owners obviously take great care of there property and want to make sure it stays that way. Since it was not my intent to damage anything, reminders didn't phase me at all.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Branson area. A great place to spend your vacation!

We are currently looking for a place for our '09 trip and I was considering this because I always appreciate cleanliness. However, I am glad I read the reviews, because I then remembered staying here a few years back, and I would not go back. The owners (I think it is primarily the lady) are neurotic obsessive-compulsive types. All the reviews are correct. She came in our cabin EVERY TIME we left, and 'cleaned' up. This wasn't just to replace the towels either. It was really unsettling to have all our things moved around. She closed up the sleeper sofa every day. Our kids were at the age that we would come back in the afternoon and lay down in the afternoon before our evening fun. It was just a hassle to open it all back up again. I pay for peace and privacy when I am on vacation and here you will get neither. It is not a welcoming atmosphere at all. These people should go into a home cleaning, appliance monitoring and repair business.

We found the establishment peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, deck provided a nice view of the cove and boat docks.
The pool available is shared between another establishment which was fine as neither has very many boarders. The pool is older and could use some touching up but over all it was fine. The kids loved that they provided a air mattress, several tubes, noodles, a couple of water guns and balls. Our kids made quick friends at the pool. We really appreciated that the pool was open till 10 p.m. Allowing the family to explore and not worry about rushing back before the pool closed for a dip. It also allow the kids something to occupy themselves with right up until bed time.
Pop machine and ice were both near by.
We read reviews on this site before booking and were pleased that we were NOT presented with the contents list that others referred too. Perhaps the owners have read the other reviews and how that was not viewed very positive by customers. ? :)
Overall we had a good time and would return.

If I were to make any comments for the owners to read it would be that they:
1. Readily accept credit cards rather than inconvience the customer by asking for check, money order. I understand the owners logic but it's just a customer service issue.
2. We found the matresses, uncomfortable but not worse than some other hotels we have stayed at.
3. A recliner in the cabin would be a real asset after a long day.
4. Provide a list of what the cabins come equiped with (ie...toaster, microwave, etc...) on your web site. If it's there we missed it.
5. Offer charcoal and starter fluid for the grills (for a fee)
We found the owner friendly and helpful.
Just up the road was a wonderful little German place to eat (recommended by the owner) with a fantastic view it had great Pizza.
If you are going to Silver Dollar City the lodging establishment is on the far side from Branson making driving to Silver Dollar City almost trafficless and took only minutes. That's a real location plus.
We saved by eating breakfast in our cabin and return in the evening to watermellon and snacks from the refrig (from what we brought with us).
The little built in heater in the bathroom was nice. Crank it up before going into the shower and coming out of the shower was just a little nicer than normal with the room a few degrees warmer.
The AC worked great as well as all the appliances.
We will return again sometime in the next 12 months as overall it was a great experience.
