Booked hotel in advance for my wife and two children. When I arrived and checked into room there was one king bed. Went back to the desk and they said they had one room left with two queens but it was a smoking room. We took the room which was in the basement. When we got to the basement all the carpet was ripped out in the hallways and it smelled of mildew. We did not stay. Would expect more from holiday inn.

I stayed here with a buddy during the Street Machine Nationals in August...the location was perfect! The only drawback is getting to the hotel during the day when traffic on the strip is backed up - fortunately I know Branson well enough to avoid the strip. I ended up with a room on the bottom floor (below the lobby even) and my "balcony" was actually a patio below the street level even...however, it came in handy when running out to the car. The rooms facing the pool with balconies have got to have killer views - eating breakfast was a treat due to the view from the breakfast room! The hotel could use a bit of updating - the elevator seemed quite old. The staff was great and accommodated every need I had...I would recommend this hotel to singles or couples looking for a hotel on the strip!

We were pleased with our recent overnight stay at this hotel. It was a packed hotel that weekend. Breakfast on Sunday at 9am was a long, long line. However, food kept coming. The walls are really thin in this hotel. The location right off Hwy 76 is very convenient. It is a hop and skip to the Tanger outlets and lots of other attractions and restaurants. The hotel room could have been cleaner in terms of surfaces. We found a dime-sized spider hanging from our towel as we reached out to use it. Upon our notifying the front desk, the immediately sent clean towels. I would stay here again because of price, location, convenience and the super-friendly staff. We requested a late checkout which was happily granted. It makes a difference to have a great staff.

I happened on this one just for a place to sleep and that's about all I would use it for. What can I say, it's a Holiday Inn in Branson. If you are going to Branson to see shows and want a nice hotel as part of your experience and price isn't your only consideration keep looking.

this hotel is manned by the best staff anywhere---i am a tour guide for a travel company---i stayed in this hotel 4 times in 6 wks and they consistantly gave the best service possible, from the front desk, luggage carriers, breakfast staff and room service---5 stars +++++---just couldn't get any better tks, sylvia janes
