Our family of four stayed at Willow Ridge Lodge the week of Thanksgiving. This was our first trip to Branson and our first stay as Marriott Vacation Club owners (this is a Vacation Club property). Even though the resort is in the middle of town, it is set back far enough from the hustle and bustle that you do not even hear traffic going by. It was wonderful! The grounds were beautiful and it was very relaxing. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit that was actually a studio connected to a 1 bedroom. This was a great set up as our kids had their "own room" and we could close the connecting door if needed. The kitchen was well equipped; we cooked Thanksgiving dinner (turkey and everything!) and did not have a problem. There is a grocery store down the yellow route not far from the hotel that was a bit pricey but convenient to have close by. We did not make use of resort activities but the calendar looked like there were some fun things planned and the front desk staff and conceirge was exteremly helpful whenever we asked for assistance. They did not hesitate to make recommendations for food, activities or even driving routes!
I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
