I stayed here on the night I flew in to St. Louis and again the night before my morning flight. The van driver was very prompt. If you travel you know this is important. The first night I arrived late and checked into the room. Although the room looked like it had been updated at some point (granite counter in bathroom), it still was kind of shabby and worn (see photo of towel bar). Also, the outlets, what few there are, seem very unsafe. They are pushed in the wall at an angle and the one in the bathroom has burn marks coming out (photos). There was some kind of "substance" on the curtains. See photo. I was exhausted and leaving very early so I did not opt to change rooms. I did report it and was compensated with travel points. I let the desk know I was coming back in a few days and was promised a better room. When I returned I let the deskperson know what had happened and that I was promised a better room. She looked at me like I was nuts and started to argue. She treated me like I was trying to get a free room. I finally said "look, I just want a clean room" and she gave me a regular room that was better. Geez though, as a business traveller and a longtime Priority Club member, would it have killed her to be a little nicer about it or kick in a free breakfast or something? No, as a Priority Club member you get a bottle of water and $2 coupon good in their (mediocre) restaurant. WOW - thanks.
