I'm a gold priority member and have had only minor issues with this brand, but keeping trying, not anymore! When arrived this super happy "fake" assistant manager Patrice couldn't find my rez, no worries I make another then she starts questioning my govt discount no problem I took the weekend rate, since it was a business mixed leisure trip. I go into my room, it was hot so I ajusted the temp, there was hair in the tub, and black fingerprints on the ice container in the freezer. Oh I had already shared my previous experience with Patrice about my Holiday Inn Express and showed her the pics. So I go downstairs and tell her went I found and her fakiness begins again and she start apologizing and acted as if in awe. I was in a hurry for a mtg so I left. I get back around 6, room still stuffy so I drop temp to 65°. I leave again come back with tons of groceries from Sam's with friends in tow around 9. I call downstairs and got this lovely young lady who name start with a"K" and she explained no night maintenance, but to try and lower temp but don't go past 62°. We tried that and about a hour later "K" came to check on us. She was amazed at hot it was and offered to find some fans. She called about midnight and apologized no fans were available but she could move us. At this time kids were sleep, I was exhausted, and had over $200 worth of food .... I couldn't move! She said she would leave a note and would be there until 2 am if I changed my mind. I finally dozed off in the oven. The next morning I asked for a manager, no one was available, but was told manager would be in after noon. I was also told the air had been out for a while in that room and unsure why I was placed there. I'm hotter now than last night by that post. I leave to start the leisure part of my trip. I come back to talk to management, I get the oh so smiley fake Patrice. Who once again start the apology routine and explain she couldn't do anything and was curious why didnt I just move as offered. I explained why and she gives me that fake smile again and says she'll call me by Tuesday after discussing it with her staff and manager. So I displayed my disgust and politely faked a smile and said I would be checking out early. Of course I never got a call, so I called a week later. Patrice says I should've just moved and sounds like I just want a free room. I've tried several attempts to reach manager but cant get pass Patrice. I give up on this brand in MS. I stayed this past week in Sulfur, La. and the Holiday Inn Express was divine.
