I travel once a month to tennis tournaments on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and my favorite home away from home is the Inn at the Pass, being Pass Christian. This sleepy coastal village is determined to preserve itself from the megaCasinos further east and west on the strip of white beach we call the Redneck Riveria. Pass Christian boat harbor is the view out front, just over the scenic Highway 90. A great photo shoot early and late in the day.
Inn at the Pass features five rooms and a cottage, so it's wonderfully intimate; the breakfast table is always an opportunity to meet folk from near and far. Many use this B&B as their home base while touring nearby New Orleans and other areas in south Louisiana and south Mississippi.
Each bedroom has a private bath, of course, and the period furniture within the hundred and fifty year old home compliments the place.

This Bed and Breakfast is soooooo relaxing. Very beautiful home with rocking chairs on the porch to sit and watch the beach across the road. Our hostess was not only a great cook but also very fun to be around. She is full of energy! The room we stayed in was the Adam room which overlooks the beach and also has a jacuzzi tub. I highly recommend that room if its available. We were there during Mardi Gras and it was right on the Pass Parade route. Our trip was simply amazing. Thanks to our wonderful hostess Mary.
