As a business traveler I am in many hotels and motels throughout the year. The Hilton Garden Inn in Meridian MS is actually one of the very best. From the Manager on down the line to every employee that I have had an association with have been first class. The breakfast each morning and the exercise room is excellent. The Business Center has saved me much time and stress. My room is always clean and the parking is safe. I have had my family stay as much as possible and they agree with this assessment.

It was more than I wanted to pay, but it had an indoor pool which is what I wanted. Most hotels in town had outdoor pools which is too cold for December. The hotel is very nice, the best we stayed in during our trip.

The service and rooms of this HGI are well above par for a business class hotel, but this HGI seems to take advantage of the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere by charging ransom for the right to sleep. My impression was that the hotel (and the other Hilton brands in the area) were roughly 40% more than is reasonable.

That out of the way, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. Bathrooms were nice enough. There were no issues whatsoever with the stay.

Enjoyed our stay over New Year's..always greeted so warmly when we entered the hotel. Wonderful experience. The Breakfast staff were outstanding, and the breakfast was awesome. We will travel here again when we need a get-away.
