I won't bore you with a description of the HGI product, other than to say it's Hilton's entry into the 'premium' express hotel market - they are generally excellent and only marginally more $ than lesser products - a winning combination of quality and value. I also won't bore you praising staff that probably won't be there when you stay (turnover is high in hotels) - during my stay they were very good. I'll just point out any differences. Hotel is in a nice safe area, is clean, and well maintained. There are many restaurants and chains nearby. Shower was weak. Beds very comfortable. We had standard mattresses, not the pseudo-sleep number beds Hilton has been pushing. That's great because the later beds are uncomfortable (IMHO) and Hilton gets as many complaints as compliments about these beds - it's like sleeping on wet sand. The breakfast buffet at Hilton is generally excellent, at roughly $10. This one had corned beef hash - a plus. Nice stay - would stay again. Also a good value at about $90 AAA rate.
