I have stayed at this hotel in the past, about a year ago i'd guess. It's convenient on my way to Texas to visit family. I like the mall down the road to get gifts. But to my surprise, this hotel made some positive changes since my last visit. A new manager i guess. I was greeted by a handsome, professional, gentleman with great reccomendations for dinner. I've never felt safer here, and the room was very nice and clean. Beds were better than last visit too. And all at a good price. It's good to know that I will be staying here again on my return trip. Spent one night during a cross country drive and was disappointed in general with the condition/cleanliness of my room. I might not should complain for the price paid, but have generally had better accommodations when spending in that price range. I have found a pattern of inconsistency with the handful of La Quinta hotels I have stayed .... some great, some not so great.

Meridian is that halfway point of our annual cross-coutry road trip. We've stayed at other hotels in Meridian over the years but will likely put the La Quinta on our permanent list. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel staff was very nice. The location is good as there are lots of restaurants in the vicinity and it is convenient to the interstate. Getting into the parking lot was a little awkward because of the side street, but made sense once we were there. It's not fancy, but it has a good hot breakfast and we felt safe during our stay.

Not the worst, but not near nice. The guy at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. That was the best thing about the place. It's in dire need of updating and the bathroom could use a good scrubbing around the tub.
