We went to McComb for my mom's high school reunion and stayed here. It was not too bad.

I thought the price was too high for the room, but I've had to stay in worse hotels. But, the renovation job in the bathroom was very shotty, in my opinion. And house keeping didn't even visit our room. But it only bothered my sister as she wanted more coffee for the in room coffee pot.

The beds were quite comfortable, although the mattress kept sliding away from the head board and your pillows would fall through.

The continental breakfast was not what I'd expected. I'm so used to the modern continental breakfast and I hadn't seen one like this since 1987. It was an actual buffet with lots of food and actual plates. I really wanted one of those high tech waffle makers, but I must say, it was nice to see the 80's buffet bar once again.

The pool looked clean and it was a very nice sized pool, but sadly there was no time to utilize it.

Also there were no food vending machines. That was a downer, since I really didn't want to get in the car and go out in search of a snack.


Really, the only major problem I had with this hotel is that they booked a High School Prom during our stay. So, on our second night there were rowdy and rather dodgy high school kids whooping and hollering around the parking lot and also just milling around out there and making all sorts of raucous. Very disconcerting.

Although it took a few phone calls, we were able to resolve a
"reservation" situation. The upper management person was very pleasant and helpful. Our thanks to all of the Days Inn staff. We will stay in their motels whenever and wherever it fits our travel schedule! (Director of a sports ministry)

I Booked my stay because I was Asked to stay here. Never again. I started wrong by using this site to reserve and pay for my room only to find out that the room was not what I paid for and the amounts where grossly overcharged. I Paid 81.00 for a 45.00 room that on it's good days was discusting. Holes in the walls, nasty celing and carpet, no light in the bath, simply one of the WORST!!

The hotel has seen better days, the wallpaper was peeling, the first night there was no hot water, rooms were not very clean, no water in the pool. People were cooking outside in front of their rooms and partying all night long, there for no sleep.Very uncomfortable feeling to stay there.
