We stayed here due to not being able to drive home from a wedding, needless to say we weren't expecting to be robbed of my wallet the next morning when I accidently left my it in the room at the time of check out. We went just up the road to the Waffel House for maybe 30 minutes, when we returned to go back in the room to get it,the laundry man had already picked the room up. When we started questioning the owner and the laundry man, that could barely speak English, they talked in their language and swore my wallet wasn't in there. Me and the owner checked the room up and down, inside and out,it was no where to be found, until we threatened them with a lawyer and the local police. Before the police shows up the owner had returned to the room after talking to the laundry man again and we could only assume he had told him that we were getting more and more pissed about the situation,to say the least when the very helpful lady cop shows up we all went into the room for her to check out things as we were talking, the owner stepped out of the room to go back to" work" as the officer was talking to us she continued to look around the room and she was looking under/around the bed that the owner had already looked under/around even moving the mattress away from the headboard, she looked up to me and asked,"Is this your wallet",i said GOD yes where was it? she replied"right here inbetween the headboard and the bed, exactly where he had already looked. Our thought's about this is that the owner got my wallet from the laundry man and put it back in the room to make us look like we were loosing our minds and that we were the crazy ones.On top of this the room had a foul smell about it and wasn't very clean.I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me to!
