Having stayed at couple of Super 8 throughout the south this one seemed to be the best. The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice. Overall it was a good experience and will definitely stay here when visiting town again. The pool adds a good touch for children to be outdoors and have fun

When we first walked into our room the bathroom wreaked of mold and the tub had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk and asked for bleach myself to clean the tub. There was roaches present, There was mold on the COLD donuts they offer in the morning for breakfast, the carpet was dirty through out the hotel. There was one morning they did not have any towels available, I did not recieve any towels until after noon! On a good note the pool was nice and the front desk employees and management were trying to be nice but there is a rudeness on the face, and the lobby smell like a curry! Yaki,,,,,,,,,

Offered free wifi but it wasn't working. Called the front desk and they tried to fix it and knocked the cable out for an hour to no avail. Staff was friendly. Good price. Breakfast was horrible. Donuts were very hard. But the bed was soft and comfy.

While in the area we decided to stay at the Super 8, The outside looked clean, and, after reading some of the reviews, we checked the room before actually committing to the stay, which is an easy way not to have nasty suprises. (If you quickly 'preview' your room, you aren't out a penny if you don't like it.)
The rooms was ample, had a very clean mini fridge and microwave, which we found quite useful during our three day tenure there. There were no cleanliness issues, everything was clean, no stains, the laundry was clean and bright white.
The television was great, all the stations worked well and we got quality viewing while we were there.
Room was quiet and had thick curtains that you could close for complete darkness for sound sleep.
Room service was good and the staff was quick to come around and ask if we needed anything every day.
Also, I must say the cleaning people were very trustworthy. We left a few thousand dollars worth of telescope and camera equipment in our room while travelling around town (we have a pickup truck) and nothing was touched while we were out.
I would definately stay here again and if I am up in this part of the state I will definately make this motel my choice.
I mean, it was great for a chain style room, especially the room I was in (nonsmoking).
