This hotel is located next to I-55 with easy access although my GPS took me past it. (The rolling signage didn't help) I called the hotel and the front desk clerk, Jerome, calmly guided me in. That was a first for any hotel personel I have ever called in the wee hours of the morning. He greeted me as I walked in. He checked me in very fast. The rooms are huge and have king size beds. It might be a little dated but it exceded my expecations for the price. The breakfast was included in the price. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for any occasion.

Here's the up side. Front desk clerk (Meghan?) is very nice. Free breakfast, clean sheets and pillows. Refrigerator works.
Here's the downside. Room looks clean on first glance, until you have to look at things like the desk lamp close up and realize it's beyond just a little dirty, it's actually filthy. Desk chair fabric looks like it's never, ever been cleaned - I'm truly not fussy, and I put a towel on it before sitting down. Phones have no directions on them. No Kleenex in room. AC unit's filter and inside are so dirty they smell bad, and you don't want to turn it on, but window doesn't open. Bathroom toilet actually moves back and forth on the floor, has dirt all around bottom. Shower curtain is clean but bars to grab have rust and mold. Light bulbs don't give off a lot of light, partly because they're so covered in dust. Can't send email out via Outlook, which normally means I call the front desk, request they put me in touch with their Wifi/IT person, get the smtp information, and end the problem. Here, the hotel clerks have no information on who to call. In fact, they're pretty sure there isn't anyone to call. "What if the Wifi goes down? who do you contact?" They don't know.
Yes, the rates are great. Cheap. And maybe - just maybe - I got a bad room. I don't think so, but it's possible. Still, even if that's the case, this room shouldn't exist in a hotel advertising itself as this good. I'd gladly have paid another $20 and felt comfortable taking my shoes off somewhere else.

Traveling back from Florida, we stopped looking for a place to stay for the night. The staff here were some of the friendliest and helpful that we had ever encountered! The desk clerk, Faye and the gentleman tending to the breakfast were the best ever. We found cleanliness and the beds were king-size and very comfortable. We would recommend this place to others. We will go back when we are in the area.

Stayed one night at Regency not knowing it was no longer a nice hotel. Checked in at Jackson Hotel and Suites next morning and there was a world of diference. Manager gave us the same rate and we were in a five star hotel. Staff is extremely courteous. Hotel is very nice and clean. Thanks for a memorable stay.
