Police cars regularly circled the parking lot and surrounding area with their lights on. The elevator was as slow as the service from the staff. Room were dingy and poorly lighted. Hotel smelled bad. Not recommend

Stayed here for one night while touring. Pool was great to cool off from summer heat after long day travelling. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Happy hour with free refreshments and food was a real bonus and saved us going out of hotel to find somewhere to eat. Room was usual Hampton Inn great value.

Dont bother with this place. The front desk staff was indifferent at best, and declined the card that I used to reserve with. Good thing I had a backup. The housekeeping staff-all of whom are very friendly and helpful-are easily the best part about this overrated, overpriced, aging place on the fringe of downtown Jackson.

The parking lot has a "gate" to give off the appearance of being safe, but I had an ipod and a garmin STOLEN out of my truck overnight in this parking lot. When I reported to the police and to the hotel staff, I was given a blank look and told that they weren't accountable. Typical. Nice doing business with you, Hampton Inn.

We had a one-bedroom suite at this hotel which we liked in every way except that it is located in a dreary area on the edge of a downtown that has little, if anything, to offer visitors. Highly recommended to those who must be in Jackson for some reason other than sightseeing.
