The clerks at check in were great. The rooms were small, and didn't have a lot of extras, but we had a TV and a radio, and really that is all we needed. The bedding was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Close to several fast food places, with easy access to highway if you want or need more. Just down the street is downtown area with a great walking tour, fabulous scenery, and several free museums to take the kids. I liked that the police made rounds every hour or so, and that made us feel safer.

Stayed one night, clean, roomy and ac worked great. Good TV and free internet. Good inexpensive place to stay for some sleep.
Cons, The Shoney's next door is in bad shape. Hotel could use some paint. Elevator smelled.

We really appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the friendliness of the desk clerks. This is the second time here and we intend to come back if this way again.

Pretty typical Red Roof Inn. Very basic, no extras. Room was clean and smelled OK, A/C was cold. Room was small, as in all Red Roof Inns. Furniture was a little worn. After check in front desk called to be sure all was OK with room. Near downtown and a few restraunts within walking distance. A good rate of $45. Only concern was a police officer was taking a statement from a guest in the lobby about a room burglary.
