I'm really reluctant to write this review. We rented 2 rooms on our way back from Florida. The first thing we did was look for bed bugs, fortunately, we didn't see any. The hotel had a funky smell (kind of like bug spray). My daughter was going to give her daughter a bath, but couldn't because there wasn't a stopper in their tub. They had to come to our room to use the tub. There wasn't enough towels for everyone (which is almost standard in certain hotels these days). They could invest in new flooring sometime. It was in pretty rough condition. Iron burns in both rooms, the carpet just looked dirty and nasty. The hallways were musty smelling.

The light in the bathroom was full of bugs, there was mold and mildew all over the bathroom.....

The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and had microwaves and refrigerators. Which is handly while travelling.

The breakfast was disappointing. Something was wrong with the waffles, it was either the batter, syrup or butter. There was a nasty taste, we thew the waffle away and had other items. The kids enjoyed the Krispy Kreme donuts, the bagels were good too. There were two kinds of kelloggs cereal, donuts, bagels, waffles, coffee, tea, juice.

There was a container for cookies at check in, but they were all gone when we arrived.

As far as customer service, that's a mixed review as well. I called the hotel to be sure the two rooms were close together, and the lady on the phone was very friendly and got us two rooms next to each other. The gentleman at the desk at check in wasn't nearly as friendly. Mr. Patel was at the desk at the checkout in the morning and he was extremely helpful and nice. This is where the challenge comes in. I didn't feel the rooms were clean, the location was easy to get to, I'm not familiar with Jackson and wasn't quite sure that I felt completely safe there. I could see where parking would be a problem if they were busy. I must say, Mr. Patel was so sweet, I'd want to stay at his hotel again. Mr. Patel, you may want to consider a different chain, you're awesome!
