From the first experience walking through the front doors of this stately southern mansion to opening the door of your room or suite, the Fairview Inn will touch your heart. Each of the rooms and suites are unique with comfort and style that says relax and enjoy our southern hospitality. Food service at Sophia's whether for a special occasion or lunch or dinner continues the theme of old southern style and grace. You will find the food superb and the staff ever attentive to your needs. Enjoy your stay. You can be sure I will return once again in the near future.

We found the Fairview Inn to be one of the very best we have stayed in. A handsome old structure with classic Mississippi architecture and spacious accomodations. Sophia's Restaurant is on the property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on white tablecloths with real silver tableware, fine china, and crystal. You won't regret a decision to stay overnight or to just drop in for a meal.

The inn is great with many unique suites, each with it's own character. You can see them on line and choose the suite you want. From 3 room Exec suite to the 14' ceiling honeymoon suite all are a great experience. On this trip, I was a bit disappointed to get the garden suite, when I saw the smallish sitting room. Then I saw the 20x20 bathroom with the 4' wide jacusi tub. My wife loved it, and the small sitting room with the working fireplace was great as well. A wonderful experience with a great staff.

We bought "The Help" package and drove the self-guided tour around Jackson. The service was exceptional, food was delicious, and we were given extras galore. From the garden to the library, our trip was relaxing and very enjoyable! Even though they had a wedding taking place, we still got very good, personalized service.
