I had called three hours ahead to book their room with three queen beds for my wife and 4 kids. We arrived at 11:30 pm and were met by a very nice gentleman, Kam. Unfortunately, the cheapskates in managment, although they were charging me $120 for the night, didn't feel the need to turn on the a/c in preparation for our arrival. It had only been 98 degrees all day. The Queen suite is a large room, probably 35 ft wide but it has only one standard hotel room a/c unit which provides poor circulation. Kam kindly offered us a small fan from the office but the room itself was smothering. It took nearly 4 hrs for the a/c to cool the room. Blowing a fan on an ice chest didn't help much. The beds were plenty firm, the sheets mediocre. Breakfast was a joke with nothing near what you will find at a Hampton or Comfort Suites. Had I paid $50 for the room with a working a/c, it would have been fine. Without a/c they should have been falling over me to help out. When I asked for management in the morning, the clerk said they weren't in and didn't offer to act even after I told him that it was the worst place I had ever stayed in. For the price they charge, I suggest the Embassy Suites where we stayed on our return trip. It wasn't great but it was light years better than this dump.
