Clean, large rooms with a microwave/fridge in the room. Bathroom was decent, but had weird lighting. Within walking distance of a good restaurant. No frills, but fulfilled expectations for a decent price.

I will never make reservations at a Best Western again and will be sure to pass on to my family and friends what poor customer relations you maintain. You don't honor your own reservation numbers and then make excuses for the incompetent (and apparently dishonest) people at your properties. You made my travel to Hattiesburg a nightmare and then tried to blame everyone else for the problem. What a poor excuse for a business.

I stayed here because I was in town on business and found this place on the internet at the last minute and thought it was a good deal. The hotel is hard to get to from the mainstreet. To leave out, you have to go through a conveince store parking lot because the street into the hoted is one way. I had requested a nonsmoking room and was given one. The room had a sign on the door saying it was nonsmoking but it had definitely been smoked in. There was a horrible "stench" in the air. The smell finally died down after the second day. The bathroom area was clean. The room came with a microwave and refrigirator and they were clean. The sheets were clean. The carpet was filthy. I almost knew I would see a roach or something but I didn't. On the first and third nights there, the hot water was not hot. It was lukewarm. I guess I just got lucky the second night. I really wished I had spent some more money and stayed at the Comfort Suites across the street. After the first night, I wanted to ask for my money back but it just wasn't worth the hassle. I will stay at a Best Western again but I will definitely check this website before I go.

My husband and I stayed here while he was on a short leave before heading overseas with the military. It was one of the few places still available and we thought it would be okay for a couple of days. Haha.

The room appeared fine upon arrival and the check-in process was fine. However, the next day the toliet clogged, then overflowed and the front desk gave almost no response. First they wanted us to come get a plunger, then some towels to clean it up. After some persistance, someone brought up a plunger but then used only a small bathmat to cover up the water all over the floor. We had to fight to get 2 towels to wipe it up ourselves and then could not get more when we asked. They said we could get more towels in the morning to clean up the mess from the overflowing toliet. After my husband argued with them about it being unclean, they finally sent someone up with what look like dirty towels to wipe up the mess. It wasn't clean but at least the floor was dry. It took an hour of fighting with the management to get this basic result.

My watch was also stolen from the room, most likely from one of their housekeepers. When I reported it to the front desk, I was told that a woman next door also had expensive jewelry stolen. It was given to her by her husband who was going Iraq too. Apparently the police were there and questioned the housekeeper but didn't have any proof she stole anything so there was nothing they could do.

Anyways, I would not recommend this hotel, even as a last resort as it was for us.
