I just stayed one night while in town on business. The hotel is in a good area with plenty of restaurants to chose from. The service during check in was ok. Not great, but not horrible either. The room was updated and clean. The bathroom; however, was a bit tired (older shower) and littered with hair. The breakfast was outstanding though. Overall, an average HGI at best.

I am a total control freak, so when my husband said he had found a hotel to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary in I was scared. I even checked the website and called the hotel myself! But to my relief everything looked beautiful, the room even had a whirlpool tub in it (we enjoyed it 3 times!). The room was so great, but it didnt have a dvd/cd player and we really wanted to play some music, thats really the only fault I had. The price was right, the room was right, and to top it off the front desk gave us a free breakfast voucher to use the next morning which included a full breakfast bar!

Hattiesburg has never been a "great" hotel town and this Hilton Garden Inn is probably one of the best. The room was clean, service friendly, but the furniture was scarred and chipped.

I have occassion to visit Hattiesburg for business and I have found this is the best hotel in town. It is very new with pleasant rooms and located just off the highway. Located with a bunch of other hotels off of a major crossroad it is very convenient to stores and restaurants.
