I stayed here on two seperate occations in October. Once with my husband and once on my own. The good: Budget friendly. The rooms were very large and clean. Carpet and linens seemed fairly new. Room had a fridge and microwave. Towels were adequate. Parking lot was well lit. I felt very safe the whole time I was there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is right off the freeway with a great location to eateries and shopping. The bad: The breakfast is very small with just some cereal, danishes, milk and coffee. Breakfast was free, so I guess I can't b e to picky. The bathrooms had just a little bit of mold in the corners and little edges of wallpaper curling up. But that was the worst. If I am ever in Hattiesburg again, I am absolutley going to stay at Days Inn on Thornhill Drive.

We had booked two rooms; one was clean but the other was not with mold growing in the bathroom and very dusty. Upon arrival we were greeted with "Got a reservation?" , we were than misled by the clerk as to why our room request was not honored. Bottom line was that she was just not that interested in providing service, nasty attitude. No wifi in one room and poor reception in the other, I had to work in the lobby. We had a two night stay and our room was not properly serviced as the garbage was not emptied and the room and bathroom not cleaned adequately. This hotel was not secure, the lock on the rear door was broken.Our room on the first floor was very noisey with the outdoor door slamming. Finally the continental breakfast was the bare minimum, lot of coffee and a few muffins and bagels. The cost was $107 per night per room, very high for this area and being it was a Days Inn

Was on a road trip and stopped to spend a short night. Staff was helpful, room was clean and quiet. Above average for this type of motel.

Booked reservations online 1-1/2 months in advance, called a couple hours prior to arrival to confirm & quickly confirmed and asked if we preferred a 2nd floor or ground floor room. Check-in quick, friendly, and professional. Nonsmoking, king-size bed room was extremely clean and location quiet, even though it was in a very busy area of town. Everything in the room worked as expected. Bed and pillows very comfortable. All in all, our two-day stay in Hattiesburg was a big success, owing in part to a comfortable stay at the Days Inn on Thornhill Drive.
