Front desk is super nice, Rebecca helped me out, I had called many of the top 10 hotels and found that the people that picked up the phone didnt seem to know what they were doing, 10 seconds talking with her and I knew the hotel had to have good managment.

If you want to know how the hotel is going to be call them, cheap help is easy to find, all the hotels i called in the area had cheap help as the face of the hotel, that will tell you the people you dont see are most likely cheap...

Rebecca told me about the area, some local rates, some hotels that seemed to be better, what to aviod. Rate was good. Everything was nice. Breakfast was full. Room was clean. Im no the type to look behind the bed for critisizm. Good hotel.

The manager was extremely helpful taking care of issues and the housekeeping crew was exceptional. I stayed at the La Quinta for a couple of months on a weekly basis. There was one day I picked up on the housekeeping staff was short handed and I told the housekeeping supervisor if she didn't have enough people just to skip my room. When I arrived back to the hotel for the evening my room was made up and my dog was waiting on me. I was kind of jealous though, the staff at the La Quinta treated my little dog better than me :-) I guess it is because she is cute! La Quinta is a great place to stay. They were also remodeling some while I was there to freshen the look but still a good night's sleep.

I was traveling from Texas to Florida with my boyfriend and stopped in Hattiesburg as a half way point of our trip. I can not say enough good things about this hotel! The front desk staff were amazing. Upon checking in my keys were waiting for me, and the front desk person greated me and knew my name. The front desk person said "I've been expecting you!" This made me feel very important and assured that I had chosen the right hotel. The front desk person asked me where I was traveling to and offered directions if I needed them. They also directed me to the nearest restaurants and offered us to go menus/delivery menus. I have to say I was very pleased with them. I got to my room and could not believe how spacious the rooms were. The room was clean and very accommodating. I stayed in room 106 and on my return trip I plan on reserving the same room if its available. The housekeeping staff in the morning spoke to me in the hallways and were very polite. Our breakfast was great! I have stayed at many La Quinta's and have only seen one other location that offered such. They had gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, cereals, juice, breads, fruit, and my favorite (make your own waffles!) I was VERY pleased with this hotel and I will DEFINITELY be back!!!

We got there with reservations for 2 double rooms and asked to change one for a king w sleeper sofa. The king room was very small (ran into cabinet when door opened) with no sleeper sofa. Asked for the double back and they did but it had not been cleaned and there was no maid and no other double room (where would they have put us if we hadn't changed?!). So we went back to the king closet with a rollaway bed that was missing 1/2 the springs. Breakfast was abysmal--ran out of milk and the lady said she would go get some but never came back and the plastic cover for the bagel tray broke off and hit my daughter in the face. Not to mention the place was hot, dirty and smelled bad.
