My family and I were travelling from Texas to Florida for spring break. We needed a pet friendly hotel and two rooms. Sun Suites had just what we needed at a very affordable price. Now don't get too excited and expect a Residence Inn or HI Express type hotel. This is a very basic hotel but we found it to be clean, cheap, and safe. The hotel sits adjacent to an office park and single family subdivision. I found it to be quiet and safe. The beds are very firm though (my only complaint). If you not looking for a fancy place to stay at but just need a quick overnight hotel...this is your place. We tried to rebook on our return trip, however, the hotel was booked up solid. PS..there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance to eat. Hotel is behind the Taco Bell and can't be found on the GPS.

Our friends told us about this hotel as they stayed here last year and again in January. We came into town to visit these friends and chose to stay here too. We were greeted by the General Manager who was very sweet. We were pleasantly surprised by just how convenient the room was for us. We didn't think we would need the kitchen, but as it turned out it came in handy as we decided on a late night dinner. It was great that we could keep the wine chilled too. The housekeeping staff greeted us as we were leaving for the day which was again a pleasant surprise. The General Manager checked us out and remembered me by name. It's all the little things that will make me come back to this hotel the next time I visit my friends. The staff acted like I was their only guest and they made me feel important. Kudo's to the General Manager and the entire Sun Suites staff.

I stayed at Sun Suites for about 3 months with my husband due to his work in the area being extended. I was 8 months pregnant when this visit began. The staff at S.S. were so helpful and genuine. First off the rates were very affordable. The office staff always did all they could to see to our comfort and the room service staff was courteous and caring. I always felt safe there even when alone at night, and it was convenient to do laundry there and shop and eat out locally. Management is friendly and runs a tight ship providing a comfortable clean stay. Anytime I needed any amenities they were provided immediately and with a smile. The on site handyman took care of the grounds very well. And we received our mail there, so if we had mail the office would call and let us know. If I went back to Mississippi I would certainly use Sun Suites again. It was a good experience all around.

I've said this before, but I'll repeat it. We are not fancy people; we have no problem doing without frills. For what it was, we were very pleased. The price was right; the staff were beyond helpful and friendly; the room met our every need. The location is a bit off the main road, and we had to turn around when we drove past the driveway, but it is worth your time, (if you are budget minded like we are), to check this place out. This is a basic hotel without any frills, and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
