Hotel exterior and lobby look great, but looks are deceiving. Rooms were spacious, but floors were very thin. We heard people above us running, jumping, crashing, etc all night. Called the front desk to notify them. About 5 minutes later they called back saying "we" were too noisy. We then informed them (again) that it was the room above us. They said sorry, but not good enough at 2:00 AM. Also, no bathub, just a huge shower (and it was not a handicap room). So if you like bathtubs, this hotel is not for you. I did not have a reservation (just stopped in). When I identified myself as a Priority Club member, they treated me like dirt. They wouldn't give any kind of discount and treated me rather rudely from that point on. I very seldom complain, but we got very little sleep and the front desk staff was rude. Stay at your own risk.

This hotel I believe is brand new or has been totally remodeled. The room was spacious and clean. Staff seemed friendly. The only complaint would be the breakfast buffett was not very good and overpriced. They have an indoor pool but we didn't get to enjoy it this trip. Very convenient to the Convention Center. Overall A+.

I got into Hattiesburg at 11am and tried to check in early. I'm a frequent traveler and have found that most hotels will let me check in early. This one absolutely does NOT.
So, I toured the town for four hours and came back at 3pm exactly to check in, lugging the bags and looking forward to getting comfortable. They told me my room wasn't ready yet. Check in time is 3pm. The girl at the desk told me to come back in a half hour. So I left again and came back at 4. It was ready, but they still hadn't replenished the linens. I got a knock on the door 20 minutes later and was handed my towels by an inarticulate young man.
The next day I went to work and got back to my hotel room at 3pm. My bed wasn't made, the trash wasn't taken out, the morning's coffee was still in the carafe and nothing had been cleaned. I knew housekeeping had been there, though, because my dirty towels were gone.
I called the front desk to see if there was a policy about how much cleaning housekeeping actually does for people who stay for an extended period of time. My expectations weren't wrong. They were supposed to have cleaned, but it just didn't get done.
"No" is often the answer at this hotel and it's not a gracious or an apologetic "no." It's just no.
