We arrived Friday night with a conformation number and had prepaid for a room for Friday & Saturday night. We were told that they overbooked & we did not have a room. I had my 8 month old daughter with us. They found us a room an hour later at the Quality Inn. We were in town for a wedding & my sister from New York was staying at the Holiday Inn along with our friends. We ended up staying with my sister in her room. Nobody ever apologized or did anything for us. They had no hot water in the shower. They maids knocked on the door even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. I would not suggest this hotel at all.

My $1700 laptop computer was stolen from my room during my stay at this Holiday Inn in Hattiesburg, MS...I assume it was taken by someone in housekeeping since they are usually the only people in the rooms. Unfortunately, when you read the fine print upon checking in, it states that Holidy Inn is NOT responsible for materials left in your room...apparently this includes theft. Anyone with a computer knows how much personal information can be stolen. DO NOT STAY AT HOLIDAY INN!!!

We arrived around dinnertime. The hotel lobby looked very nice but it took awhile to get checked in (we were the only ones in line). Parking is very tight when the hotel is full. Good luck! Our hotel room was clean; we booked an efficiency room and notice stains in the kitchen area. The kitchen has a full size frig, and two burners, plus a microwave. The utensils and cookware they provide was a joke. Family Dollar carries better!! We had a bathtub in our bathroom but the shower curtian had a good deal of black mold on it. We stayed a week because our kids were all attending a conference in the area. Several days we never received room service even though we had the sign out. Many days we saw huge trashbags outside the rooms sitting there for hours. We would leave for a few hours and upon returning were greeted with the same trashbags or room service trays still sitting out in the hallway waiting for someone to do their job. They were quick in repairing the hotel phone, which we used since we had family staying on another floor. The staff overall seemed lazy and not wanting to work. If I would ever return to the area, I would be staying elsewhere. The price is way more than what it should be for the room and service.

We stayed here on our way to Ft. Walton Beach from Little Rock. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Cable TV was not working properly but everything else was excellent. Easy to find, also--right on hwy.
