This hotel has a tremendous location. We stayed here for
a week at different times traveling from Jackson to Gulfport.
There are also a number of restaurants nearby. The rooms
were always clean and the staff is very professional. I would
recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed at this hotel twice recently. Once while driving to Florida, and again on the way back from Florida. While the rooms were alright, they are not worth what we paid for them. They are more of what I would have expected at a motel 6. General upkeep is poor. Walpaper peeling, items in the room old and not working properly, etc. The first time we stayed, we asked for a portable crib. They said they would have to check for one as there was a wedding party staying there. They said they would call my room and let us know. After waiting a while I went back to the front desk for them to tell me they did not have one. The fact that they did not have one is fine, the fact that they did not call me like they said was not. Also, the toilet in the room barely worked, and there were no power outlets in the room to be found. We had to unplug a lamp to charge our phones. There was also no shampoo in the room, only conditioner.

I thought it was maybe a fluke, but it was no better the second time around. Some of the towels had stains on them, and the carpet was very dirty. My wife took off her socks, and after walking around for about 15 minutes her feet were turning black. Also, the plastic cover over the lights for the sink was obviously cracked pretty bad and needed to be replaced. Wallpaper was also peeling in this room.

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel, my accomindations and the staff during my stay. I would and will reccomend the Baymont in Hattieburg to co-workers and friends.

We stayed here on our way back from Florida and wanted a good place to stay but not cost a fortune. The rates were reasonable and I have a points card for this chain so it was even better. The temperature had turned cold on our way back so we wanted a warm room. The air was on cool when we came in the room and once we switched it to warm it heated up in about 15 minutes. The bed was very comfortable.

The continental breakfast was adequate and had choices that were gluten free. I recommend the Baymont Inn for a lot of stays. Easy access to highway.
